it’s time for the glorious return of summer to Crested Butte. In a short time the snow will be a distant memory. By then, Peak Sports will be in full on bike mode. Come by the shop and rent one of our many Trek full suspension mountain bikes and soon you’ll be having it on the famous (and infamous) trails of Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley.

At its end is what many call “the last great Colorado ski town”—Crested Butte. Nestled deep in the Elk Mountains, Crested Butte is considered the wild flower capital of Colorado and is surrounded by the largest wilderness areas in the state. There are a myriad of things to do here in the summer, we boast some of the best fly fishing anywhere and arguably the best single track trails to be found. With all of this you will find that Crested Butte beats to a different drum, things are a little slower and more casual here, and in fact the people are just downright friendly here in CB.
